Friday, 13th September 2002, Velan will present VERSUS VIII with works by Pippa BACCA, Marco CALLEA, Luciano GAGLIO, Irina NOVARESE, Alessandro QUARANTA, Stefania RICCI, Vittorio VALENTE. The format has been created in order to confront young artists coming from different places and working in different contexts. Many forms of expression come thus in contact and communication, giving us a selection of the different contemporary tendencies. The chosen works represent various artistic techniques, from photography to painting, sculpture, installation and video and are put together without pre-studied connexions, as  manifestations of some among the different faces of the artistic research of our time.
